The Biggest Twitch is going to be very tough. We'll be visiting every type of habitat
on earth and will experience all the extremes of weather that nature can throw at us.
However, with good preparation, dedication, the right attitude, and the right support
we're sure we can do it. We recognise that the generous support of outside experts
will ensure this record-breaking challenge is a success.
Seeing the birds and seeing them well enough to identify them accurately is
fundamental to The Biggest Twitch so we will be relying totally on our optical
equipment to see us through 2008.

Swarovski Optik has ensured that we have the best
chance of bagging our birds by generously providing us with binoculars and
telescopes for the trip, and with their unique camera adapter, we aim to digiscope as

We would also like to thank in advance the amazing local guides that we'll be birding
with in some countries around the world. These local experts will be helping us reach
our birding target by being in the right place at the right time to see some of the more

Innovation has kindly provided us with some excellent outdoor clothing to
help us cope with any of the elements we are likely to face on our expedition
around the globe. They have even used us as models in their latest fantastic
catalogue which includes the best birding clothing you could possibly wish for,
