Wonderful Guided Birdwatching in North Wales
Wonderful Guided Birdwatching in North Wales
A wonderful day guiding along the North Wales coast, the highlight was a pair of Peregrines displaying! These truly awesome birds were in total control of their enviroment, the air. Their stoops at breathtaking speed had to be seen to be believed! The display went on for ages and our necks were aching from staring up for so long, just brilliant.
Our day had many other memorable birds; Chough right next to us; five, yes five, Mediterranean Gulls in view at once; Tundra Bean Goose in the sunshine; Spotted Redshank feeding next to Greenshank; a huge flock of Golden Plover; stunning Pintail by the hundreds, the list went on and on!

Black Guillemots showed off in their fine breeding plumage
Seabirds were back on the cliffs in force with Guillemots, Razorbills, Fulmars and Shags all there to be enjoyed as Rock Pipits jumped about the cliffs.
Ravens kronked as they flew and rolled overhead and nearby we relished close-up views of both Chiffchaff and Goldcrest.
A stop at a picturesque woodland river gave us views of Dipper, Grey Wagtail, Sparrowhawk, Buzzard, Siskin, Jay and delightful Long-tailed Tits.
It was such a wonderful day's birdwatching with great company. Many thanks to Brian and Jean! We look forward to more birdwatching adventures with you soon.
