White Storks over Llandudno
White Storks over Llandudno
A taste of Spain in North Wales!
We had a phone call from Becky Clews-Roberts at RSPB Conwy alerting us to a report of six large black-and-white birds heading west over nearby Colwyn Bay. Rushing to our living room window, we saw hundreds of Herring Gulls taking to the skies over Llandudno in alarm. And there, unbelievably, were six huge White Storks circling over the town! (And no, we hadn't smuggled them back from Spain in our luggage!)

The six birds circled before heading north-northwest and were lost to view
Hopefully these birds will be relocated somewhere in North Wales soon.
