What is a Cookie

Log files

Waking with Nightingales Extremadura Spain



You know you are somewhere very special when you wake up and hear a Nightingale singing outside your bedroom. We love Extremadura and the birds here make it a very special place to visit. April is a wonderful time to experience the wild flowers, big skys and of course the amazing resident and migrant birds that make this stunning region their home.

Everywhere we looked carpets of wildflowers glowed in the sunshine.

This Roman Bridge was a great place to see Alpine, Pallid and Common Swifts.
