Swan Lake at Martin Mere WWT Reserve
We're really looking forward to this year's North West Birdwatching Festival at Martin Mere WWT on 23rd and 24th November. As last year, we will be based in the Raines Observatory on both Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm. We'll have our telescopes focused on the birds on view on the mere and marshes to share the wonderful wildfowl spectacle playing out in front of us. We will be on hand to answer any ID questions you may have and we will have a copy of the new Crossley ID guide to the birds of Britain and Ireland with us - to find out more about this ground-breaking new field guide, do check back to see tomorrow's blog.
