Fantastic Norfolk birding in the sunshine

Just back from a wonderful 3-day weekend trip to Norfolk, catching up with some fantastic birds and all in glorious sunshine - was this really November?

Of course it was the birds that really stole the show; the thousands of geese and waders providing a breath-taking spectacle as they lifted off at dawn from their night-time roost on the Wash estuary; the Barn Owl and Short-eared Owl that quartered the marshes at dusk in search of prey just feet from our watchpoint; the Cattle Egret preening in full sunshine and the Yellow-browed Warbler flitting amongst the willows.
