Rare gull tops the list
The days guiding began at Foryd Bay with 110 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and masses of wildfowl and waders.
Then Porthmadog where more waders including Greenshanks and Black tailed Godwits.
At Morfa Bychan we drove out on to the beautiful beach at Black Rock
Continuing the good run of gulls a near adult Caspian Gull at the east end of Black Rock beach Morfa Bychan early afternoon. Sadly no photos as the bird was the other side of the stream that runs across beach, decided to drive round to other side, via village, gate closed so had to walk out to beach. No surprise that the bird had done one by the time we got to the area where it had been with Herring, Common and Black h Gulls. So no chance of getting it accepted!
Then Pwelli Harbour where Kingfisher and Water Rail were the highlights in the warm sunshine.
Why not join us soon for great birding?
