Rain does not stop play!
We entered Zambia and on our first full day woke to rain, not a problem for British birders we were soon out seeing amazing birds and wildlife.
We headed for the Mosio Tunya National Park near Livingston.

Like good boy scouts our group was prepared for the weather!

We were soon watching a bull Elephant seeking shelter under the riverside trees

These Impala were nice and dry under their chosen tree

White faced Ducks felt right at home - good weather for them!

Rock islands in the river suddenly became a herd of Hippos

It seems the Hippos are well trained here?!

White crowned Lapwing strode alongside us

Dishu provides a dry scope to enjoy great views

Luckily the rain did not last long and sun soon returned and with it this cracking Brown hooded Kingfisher
Still lots more pics to come from our safari with Letaka check back soon....
