Plans for The Biggest Twitch website
We have been looking back at the photos from southern Ecuador, some pretty nice ones, and some extremely good ones taken by our friend Nick Athanas, from Tropical Birding. Our web designers at Blah d Blah have been thinking of ways to revamp the site and we are keen to have photo galleries to show case more than one photo at a time. So watch this space for lots of pics. We hope to be able to make a gallery for each country visited and update them regularly. With the weather pretty grim out we plugged on with admin today, though of course come 4pm we had to down keyboard and switch on the radio to listen to Five Live football commentary of the Manchester United v Chelsea match. Ruth is a die hard blues fan and Alan a fanatic utd supporter so it was never going to be an easy listen. Well as always the best team won, and on this occasion it was United with a three nil scoreline. Luckily unlike Alan, Ruth does not sulk for days after a defeat for her team so for a happy home it was definitely the best result. Now that we are back and are slowly settling into normal life again, Alan has resumed his work for Birdline North West and Birdline Wales, the telephone information services that provide regularly up-dated bird news for everyone. Birdline North West is on 09068 700 249 and Wales on 09068 700 248, if you would like to report bird sightings within the regions telephone 01492 544588, same number both regions. It is great fun doing birdline as we get to hear all the bird news and to keep in touch with all the birders that are out there finding great birds!Posted Llandudno North Wales 11 January 2009
