More Morocco birding

We take a welcome break for liquid before heading into the Sahara.

Breath-taking scenery opened up before us, just stunning!

Looking for a very special in the desert...

Pharoh Eagle Owl looks down from its roost, brilliant scope views.

End of another amazing day in Morocco, we loved this tour.

Birding began right outside our window, early morning Bee-eater.

4x4's took us into the heart of the Sahara, great drivers made it fun.

Farming in the desert? May not be sustainable, but lots of birds here.

Flocks of lovely Crowned Sandgrouse came down to drink here.

Further into the sands and our local guides knew the spot...

No, not a rock, an Eygptian Nightjar - what a fantastic bird!

So good worth another photo, we saw at least five of these mega birds.
