More birding in the back garden
More birding in the back garden - Great Orme Llandudno
An early morning out on the headland right behind our house. Just as the light came up a loud call announced a Richard's Pipit right overhead! This large pipit circled, calling constantly, before heading off towards the limestone pavement area.

Small flocks of Crossbills flew west along with a Reed Bunting and two Bullfinches, both scarce birds here.
Then out on to the limestone pavement area...

Walking up to the cairn a movement in the grass gave away the presence of a lovely Snow Bunting.

This Snow Bunting was just so confiding!
Sitting quietly watching the Snow Bunting, a second bird flew in and landed right next to us.
