Messing about on the river - Okavango River that is

We spent the whole day drifting about on the river.


African Fish Eagles were a regular and magnificent sight


Viewing wildlife from the comfort of the boat


And there was plenty to see!


the scenery was pretty good too..


African Skimmers were encountered regularly, wonderful birds


Bizarre birds and we soaked up the close views



Huge beds of Papyrus reeds are home to many birds


Including the tiny but perfectly formed Malachite Kingfisher


With the sun sinking we headed home, a wonderful day!
