Leica BirdBox on the road Sculthorpe Moor
Leica BirdBox on the road Sculthorpe Moor Hawk and Owl Trust

Leica Birdbox arrives at Sculthorpe Moor, in lovely sunshine.

After the previous day practice Birdbox is soon ready for the public.

This community nature reserve is a peaceful haven for wildlife and people.

We had time for a short walk before the reserve opened, lovely butterflies everywhere!

A Comma feeds in the sun.

Migrant Painted Lady was a wonderful sight.

Not just Butterflies we also found this cracking moth.

In the visitor centre we met the Harvest Mice, how cute can a mouse be?

The reserve has breeding Marsh Harriers, and a sculpture to prove it!

Do you know what it is yet?

Yes a Little Egret!

The woodland held many birds including this Marsh Tit.

We will certainly be back on our next visit to Norfolk. A huge thank you to The Hawk and Owl Trust, the staff and volunteers at the reserve for making us so welcome. A special thank you to all the lovely people that came along and chatted about birds, birding, and binoculars, we had a super day.
