Jam and Jerusalem in Rowen

Last night a talk to the WI in Rowen, near Conwy, was great fun. A lively group with a real buzz in the meeting, covering all sorts of subjects. The group are working to improve road safety at a busy road junction, running a book club, outings, and putting out press releases about their group!

The talk was about the Isle of Anglesey, not far from us, and a place we regularly take our birdwatching groups to enjoy great scenery and birds. A tour of the island was taken, Clockwise around and Island the title, showing some of the wonderful habitats, stunning scenery, wildlife and the best places for a cuppa and cake on Anglesey. Based on Ruth's popular book "Birds, Boots and Butties" the Anglesey edition.
