If you would like more information or to book your place just drop us a line info@thebiggesttwitch.comNorfolk Weekend 18 – 20 June 2010Friday Depart North Wales Comfort break en-route to NorfolkLakenheath Fen RSPB – actually just into Suffolk, here we hope to see such wonderful species as Golden Oriole, Common Crane, Hobby and much more.Weeting Heath – This breckland reserve holds the charismatic Stone Curlew and a good chance of Wood Lark.Wolferton – If time allows we will look for Golden Pheasant in the evening.SaturdayDuring the day we will visit the following sites and of course be aware of any rare or scarce species that may be in the area. Due to the good chance of something special to see in the area the order we visit sites will be very flexible.Titchwell RSPB – Bittern, Marsh Harrier, Avocet, Mediterranean Gull, Little Tern, Cetti’s Warbler, Bearded Tit.Choosley drying barns – Corn Bunting, Yellowhammer, Grey and Red-legged Partridge.Holkham Park – Egyptian Goose and woodland species.Cley NWT – Spoonbill?, Garganey?, waders, Yellow WagtailSalthouse Heath – Evening visit Nightingale, Nightjar, WoodcockSundayWe will look for some of the areas rarest breeding birds so no mention of specific sites here.Honey Buzzard, Montagu’s Harrier, Dartford Warbler.We will again be reactive to any breaking bird news.Depart mid-pm stopping en-route if any birds are available that we would like to see.
