A taste of honey, and more ....
The Honey Buzzard is a rare breeding bird in the UK and we are offering you the chance to look for these charismatic raptors with The Biggest Twitch.
Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th July 2013We will be heading over to northeast England to visit a raptor viewpoint where a pair of Honey Buzzards are being seen fairly regularly at the moment. Given reasonable luck with the weather, and some patience, we have a pretty good chance of connecting with these wonderful birds. It's also a great area for other birds of prey so there will be plenty of other raptors to look for as we scan the skies for our main prize, the Honey Buzzard.

Charismatic Honey Buzzard
During our birding weekend, we will also be visiting some fantastic wetland reserves in search of more raptors, migrant waders, warblers and wildfowl, so we are sure to see a great variety of exciting birds on this trip.
We will be staying in a comfortable B&B in a tranquil rural setting close to the main birding sites. The cost of the trip is £235 per person on a B&B basis sharing a double or twin en suite room; single room supplement will apply. As always, we only run small group tours to ensure everybody has the very best chance to enjoy all the birds at a relaxed pace, minimum three and maximum six participants.
