Good bırds come thıck and fast here. Apologies for lack of updates but we have been in areas without internet access. We are now at the Goksu Delta staying at the Lades Motel (www.ladesmotel.com ) in Tasucu. The last few days have given us such amazıng birds as Caspian Snowcock and Radde's Accentor and Bimaculated Lark at Demırkazik. We then moved on to Bırecık on the River Euphrates. What an amazing place. Our two days here were nowhere near enough. Just a few selected highlıghts here included Pygmy Cormorant, See-See Partridge, Pallıd (Striated) Scops Owl, Menetries Warbler, Iraq Babbler, Persian Nuthatch (Eastern Rock Nuthatch), Dead Sea Sparrow and Pale Rock Finch. Heading back west we stopped briefly at Durnalik where we scored Sombre Tit and Trumpeter Finch along with such great birds as White-throated Robin, Cinereous Bunting, and many more Pale Rock Finches. Tomorrow is our last day in Turkey when we will bird the Goksu Delta before flying back to Cyprus and on to the UK.Bırd Species total: 2228 (31 new species in Turkey so far)Posted 9pm, Tasucu, Turkey
