Into Kuala Lumpur first thing this morning from Singapore, and we met up with Keith Barnes who'd flown in from Tropical Birding's South Africa office. Then it was straight out to Fraser's Hill. We dropped our bags and headed straight out to bird the Telecom Loop. We were in the car but had to stop every few yards to leap out and check feeding flocks passing through the forest. Just a few of the fantastic highlights here included: Blyth's Hawk-Eagle, Yellow-vented Pigeon, Fire-tufted Barbet, Black Laughingthrush, White-browed and Black-eared Shrike-babblers, Long-billed and Streaked Spiderhunters. What a great place, you can be sure we'll be out before dawn tomorrow morning to see what else we can pick up.Bird species total: 3765Posted 8th November, Fraser's Hill, Malaysia
