Birdwatching Magazine North Wales Break

Join us for a five day bird filled tour 18-22 October 2014

We are delighted to be running an Autumn birdwatching tour with the UK's best selling bird magazine, Birdwatching, here in North Wales.

Great Orme

Our tour will highlight the wonderful birds and habitats of North Wales from sea to mountains and will be based in the scenic Conwy Valley. The Princes Arms Hotel, overlooking the Conwy River, will be our base so we will also enjoy great hospitality and delicious food throughout.

Black Guillemot

Each day we will set out to explore the varied habitats and look for the special birds that this amazing area has to offer. We would expect to see around 120 species at a relaxed pace allowing everyone time to really enjoy the birds.

Dipper

October is a great time to be in North Wales with a mix of resident, migrant and winter birds all present and a very good chance of a rarity or two. It is possible to see Chough, Wheatear and Redwing in all in the same spot at this most exciting time of year!

Wheatear

Alan is co-author of the very popular Best Birdwatching Sites in North Wales and has run Birdline Wales for over 25 years so no-one better to show you the birds of this stunning area. Ruth has also written birds and walking guides to North Wales and together we will ensure you will have the very best customer care throughout the tour.
